The intention of this post is not to sell Epicure! I am not a Epicure Consultant nor will I (or anyone associated to this website) receive kickbacks from Epicure for writing this post… I just happen to be quite smitten with the product!
I was recently introduced to Epicure through a co-worker (shout-out to Ang!) at an office potluck. She swears by the products and had nothing but good things to say. Obviously I had to get my hands on SOMETHING this incredible. The first thing I bought was the Guacamole Dip Mix, which created a no-fail guaranteed, party pleasing, holy guacamole dip. Even my husband, who hates avocados, dug into this one. I have since tried out the Pueblo Dip Mix, which is excellent on its own (either warmed up or chilled) or tossed into any Mexican dish including burritos and even my Tex-Mex Sloppy Joe recipe. I also branched out and bought the Eclipse Coated Wok with Glass Lid and the Chipster (make chips out of apples, potatoes, zucchini etc, all in your microwave!) with Ceramic Slicer, and haven’t looked back since.
I absolutely love Epicure Selections. Although a bit pricey (when compared to Walmart and the like) the products are of a higher quality. For example, the dips have considerably less sodium than the store-bought brands, and the cookware doesn’t have that “cheap” and toxic feeling to it that many of the coated pans have.
The best part about Epicure? It is “a 100% Canadian, family-owned, woman-led company” – Heck yes! I’ll support that.
Have you ever tried Epicure? Have any must-have items or great recipes recommendations?
