If you read my blog post, Closet Purge with K, you will know that I am now on a quest to dress more fashionably and within a reasonable budget.  After years of living and shopping in Victoria, I have discovered some pretty amazing and unique stores. Below is my list of my favourite clothing stores in Victoria:

Dots. The best way I can describe Dots is that it’s like a small scale Winners. There are so many different brands, designers and the prices are really marked down.  I would highly recommend joining their email list because you will receive unbelievable coupons and specials.  Every late fall I check out their amazing winter coat sale. Last year I bought a beautiful coat from France and it was only $50.

Mercedes Lane Too. This store is so much fun to explore. All the clothing and accessories are arranged by colour groups.  Each colour has its own nook and within that nook, you can find shirts, dresses, blouses, pants, purses, jewelry and hats. They also have a wonderful line of bamboo clothing and funky shoes. I bought these shoes on a whim one day and I absolute love them; I call them my Aladdin shoes.

Vshoen: I absolutely love this store and not just because the shoes are so amazing, funky and original, I love it because of the store’s philosophy.   Vshoen is Victoria’s first ethically conscious boutique carrying only 100% vegan footwear, purses, belts, clothing and accessories.  As I mentioned in my previous post, How I Became Healthy, I am a vegetarian and shopping and supporting  a store that supports the rights for the ethical treatment of animals makes me feel good. Check out my newest shoes from there.

Glam and Fame. I cannot believe how many people in Victoria do not know about this store! I stumbled across this store late on a Friday night last year with a friend. The store carries one line from Paris,  which is of the same name. The clothes are flowy, romantic, beautiful and reasonably priced! I bought a flowy, beautiful dress for $30 last month. I also love that this stores is open late on Friday which is unusual nowadays in downtown Victoria.

These are four of my favourite clothing/shoes stores in Victoria. What are your favourite stores?
